The story of these three voyages to China are also extremely important for their detailed chapters on the other countries and islands visited on route. The earliest reference to Manila and a history of the Philipines, the West Indies, Mexico and New Mexico. Also contains travel accounts of Franciscan and Augustinian missionaries, several Chinese works which were acquired by Martin de Rada at Fukien.
Bound in vellum with handwritten titles. In very good condition with some small areas of professional restoration.
