With sections on Cowes week, yachting customs, ceremonies and traditions, and the construction and rigs of the earlier yachts. The Cowes week section includes the newly-rigged 122 ft. sloop R.Y.S. 'Britannia' and the great J-Class yachts. Appended with a detailed list of the early Royal yachts, brief logs of voyages, and a bibliography.
  1000 copies published and intended as a limited edition although several copies are un-numbered or not part of the limitation, as with the Bodleian Library copy. A numbered copy resides at the Greenwich National Maritime Museum.
