A fabulously ‘Tobacconalian’ collection of booklets containing smoking and tobacco literature, poems, songs and essays, bound together into two volumes. Magically illustrated, with advertisements, full page engravings, vignettes, tipped in colour plates, and bound in outer wrappers of thick card illustrated in gilt and colour. Each booklet with a black and red title page and engraved frontispiece. All except first and last booklet with illustrated black and red half title.
With the bookplate of Charles P. Searle, and stamp of W. A. Dwiggins. Penciled note states ‘acquired from Mabel Dwiggins, Hingham, Mass. Mrs. Dwiggins was world famous.
